Ride on the River! with Pedaling for Pathstone
You’re invited to join Genesee River Alliance on Saturday, August 19 for a fun annual event: the Pedaling for PathStone bike ride fundraiser.
This year’s event will again feature an Urban Off-Road River Ride. Genesee River Alliance and Genesee Land Trust are excited to partner with PathStone and Black Girls Do Bike Rochester to offer this amazing bike ride along the Genesee
Riverway Trail and Thomas R. Frey Trail at El Camino. The ride covers the length of the Genesee River from Charlotte to Genesee Valley Park. The ride is perhaps the only way to fully appreciate the beauty of the Genesee River in the City of Rochester.
With fantastic views, three amazing waterfalls and more, this well-supported ride of about 30 miles winds along the Genesee River. Water and break stations are available along the way. Box lunches and other goodies will be provided at the end of your ride at the gardens at PathStone. You can ride any portion of the trail and stop whenever you want.
Join us for a fun-filled day! You can register as an individual or as a team! Sponsors enjoy great benefits. Prizes go to top fundraisers! We would love to have you on our team. For those that need assistance registration is free, just enter freeride on the registration form.
This ride helps raise funds to support the ongoing work of Genesee River Alliance – advocating to improve and enhance the river corridor, gathering community input about the new State Park at High Falls, and providing Mile-a-Month events along the river since 2019. Genesee River Alliance is a project of Genesee Land Trust.
